West Coast punk supergroup Implants (members of Strung Out, Pulley, Ten Foot Pole, Authority Zero, and Brown Lobster Tank/The Tank) are gearing up to release their new album Annihilation next week (10/18) via Cyber Tracks (pre-order). It’s their first new music since their 2016 EP The Olden Age and first full-length since their 2013 debut LP From Chaos To Order, and it finds them staying true to the kind of melodic skate punk that the members of Implants have been making for decades. We’re premiering the video for new single “Radio Out,” which has even more starpower thanks to a guitar solo from El Hefe of NOFX, who just said goodbye with their final show over the weekend. He also makes a cameo in the video, which was directed by Wesley Alley.
“’Radio Out’ is about the daily struggles that people face that push them to the edge. It addresses the feelings of depression, loneliness and wanting it all to end. It’s to serve as a reminder to listen to people when they are feeling down and offer them hope that everything will work out in the end,” vocalist Ken Conte says. Check out the song and video below.
