Nick Cave & Warren Ellis‘ 2022 tour has been documented with a live album, Australian Carnage, which is out digitally this Friday, August 25 via Goliath / AWAL Recordings, with a vinyl release on December 1. It was recorded across their three shows at the Sydney Opera House on December 16-18 — the digital release has 18 songs, while the vinyl edition is eight songs. “Touring Australia with Warren after so much time away was one of the highlights of recent years,” says Nick. “Every show was moving and unforgettable, from the intimacy of playing in theatres and arts centres, to the vast and uplifting nights at Hanging Rock, through to our final three nights at the inimitable Sydney Opera House. We are excited to share these recordings, made at the Sydney Opera House, and hope they capture even a tenth of the collective elation we felt at those shows. We’ll never forget them.”

Nick will be back in North America for a solo tour where he’ll be accompanied by Radiohead’s Colin Greenwood, including NYC shows on October 6 at Kings Theatre and October 7 and 8 at Beacon Theatre.
While here, Nick will also be doing book events for his 2022 memoir, Faith, Hope & Carnage, including two NYC appearances on November 5 at The Strand (sold out) and 92 Y (tickets).
