Can it really be 10 years since Midlake awesomely combined renaissance fair folk with Fleetwood Mac for their breakthrough album The Trials of Van Occupanther? It can because Bella Union has announced a 10th anniversary deluxe reissue which will be out October 28. The reissue comes on 180g gold vinyl, with reimagined cover art by painter/skateboarder Brian Lotti (that’s it above), plus a pull-out poster, handwritten lyrics and unseen photos. The vinyl reissue also comes with a bonus 7″ featuring two previously unreleased tracks, “The Fairest Way” and “Festival.” You can stream “The Fairest Way” here:
