Maxband, the NYC group led by Max Savage of Parquet Courts, will release their debut album, Maxband On Ice, on April 5 via Holm Front. The album was produced by Jonathan Schenke, who worked on Parquet Courts’ Light Up Gold.
“The songwriting has matured, both lyrically and instrumentally,” says Savage. “We’re a much tighter band now, and we’ve improved as musicians individually. Everyone’s voices can be heard on this record, and our winsome personalities are reflected in each song.”
