Veteran post-rock/electronic duo Lymbyc Systym, who recently toured with Foxing (pics), last released the Split Stones LP in 2015 and they’re following that with the New Varieties EP on August 5 via Western Vinyl. It’s got three songs that were written and recorded at the same time as Split Stones, and a remix by Botany of the EP’s opening song, “Opposing Bodies.” The original version of “Opposing Bodies” premieres in this post, and it’s a nice dose of upbeat indie-synthpop. It kinda plays out like an instrumental version of M83. Check it out below:
