Lucy Dacus has announced Forever Is a Feeling: The Achives, the companion to her March album Forever Is a Feeling, due out this Friday (digitally) and December 8 (on vinyl) via Geffen. It includes the previously unreleased “Losing,” a cover of Jim Croce’s “Time in a Bottle,” a demo of “Ankles,” an extended version of “Lost Time,” a “wedding version” of “Best Guess,” a live recoring of “Bullseye” with Hozier from one of her April shows at Radio City Music Hall, and her recent singles “Bus Back to Richmond” and “More than Friends.” There are also two vinyl-exclusive tracks, “Talk” recorded at Red Rocks, and a demo of “The Most Hated Man in West Tennessee.” See the cover art and tracklist below.
Lucy recent wrapped up her tour with the NYC and DC-area editions of All Things Go, bringing out Zohran Mamdani in NYC, and she has a few more shows lined up through the end of the year, including a New Yorker Festival date with Rufus Wainwright, a performance at his LA Hooray for Hollydays benefit, and some shows supporting Billie Eilish. Before those, she’ll also perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday (10/9), where, like she’s been doing at shows, she’ll officiate weddings. See all dates below.
