Lone Justice, the ’80s-era band led by Maria McKee, have announced Viva Lone Justice, which is their first album since 1987’s Shelter. It’s out October 25 via Afar. It was made with the lineup — McKee, guitarist Ryan Hedgecock, bassist Marvin Etzioni, and late drummer Don Heffington — who made their 1985 self-titled debut.
The band have shared two songs from the album: “Jenny Jenkins,” their take on the traditional that’s here made a duet between McKee and Heedgecock, and a blazing cover of The Undertones’ “Teenage Kicks.” You can listen to both below.
