Mark Lanegan‘s album Bubblegum was released 20 years ago today (8/2) and there’s a deluxe 20th anniversary reissue on the way with a treasure trove of unreleased material. To celebrate the album’s 20th anniversary, Beggars has shared one of those unreleased tracks, the full band outtake from the album’s sessions.
“There’s no such thing as an easy way down,” Mark sings on “Heard a Train,” a slashing, searing number that has an almost Eastern European folk-ska chassis. Listen below.
