Afghan Whigs are getting ready to reissue their seminal album Black Love on November 25 via Mute. That release features a number of unreleased demos and outtakes, one of which has recently been shared, a solo piano cover of New Order‘s hit 1993 single, “Regret.” It’s a beautiful version, and you can listen to it here.
Meanwhile, Afghan Whigs organized those three benefits for guitarist Dave Rosser, who sadly has colon cancer, in December. Tickets for the New Orleans show at the Civic Theatre on December 10 are still on sale, while the two LA shows (The Teragram on 12/13 with Afghan Whigs, and 12/14 with Gutter Twins) are sold out..
