LCD Soundsystem are back with a new single, “X-Ray Eyes,” which is their first new music since 2022’s “New Body Rhumba” (which was their first song in five years). The song premiered on NTS Radio’s ‘Soup to Nuts w/ Anu” and it’s a minimal banger, more like early LCD, with James Murphy whispering lines like “I got eyes that can see inside” over a disco beat and bleepy bloopy synths. Pretty cool.
So far NTS Radio is the only place to hear “X-Ray Eyes” and you can do so by forwarding to the 19:59 mark here. Stay tuned for more information.

LCD Soundsystem have their annual NYC holiday residency coming up at Knockdown Center, with 12 shows across three extended weekends: November 21-24 with Poolside; December 5-8 with Gustaf; and December 12-15 with Fcukers.
