Kylie Minogue is a busy woman. The Australian pop icon joined fellow Aussie Nick Cave at Brighton, UK’s Preston Park on Friday (7/31) for their first performance of their 1995 collab “Where the Wild Roses Grow” since doing it together during Kylie’s 2019 Glastonbury set, and just one day later she was in Amsterdam joining Madonna on stage at World Pride Music Festival for “Love Sensation” from Madonna’s new album Confessions II. After doing so, it was announced that their collaborative version of the song, dubbed “Love Sensation (Afterhours Mix),” will officially be out this Friday (8/7). They also played “Sorry” from Confessions I.
About the Nick Cave performance, Kylie wrote, “I’ll forever be your Wild Rose Nick Cave. Such a pleasure to join you on stage for Where the Wild Roses Grow. Thank you to all The Bad Seeds for being so good and to Susie for my divine white lace dress (complete with white lace romper and wild rose embellishments.) Wonderful crowd, wonderful night. All LOVE!!!!!”
