This weekend is Memorial Day Weekend which means…probably staying inside most of the time just like we’ve done the last two months of coronavirus lockdown. But the folks at garage rock labels Burger, Goner and Slovenly are aiming to make the most of it with a 12-hour Memorial Day Meltdown livestream festival. It happens Sunday, May 24 from noon to midnight Eastern on sofa-king-fest.com, which is technically the day before Memorial Day, but what are days anymore?
The festival is hosted by Quintron & Miss Pussycat, King Khan, Eric Oblivian and Sean Spits, and will include performances from Nobunny, Jack Oblivian & The Sheiks, The Zeros, Elephant Stone, Cosmonauts, White Mystery, Bloodshot Bill, Paul Collins, Personal & The Pizzas, John Wesley Coleman, Hai, Pink Mexico, Human Eye, and more.
