Jimmy Eat World are celebrating the 20th anniversary of Futures (one of the best emo & post-hardcore albums of 2004) this year, and they’ve announced that they’ll play it in full at a special hometown show at Phoenix’s The Van Buren on October 17. It’ll be their only hometown show this year, and tickets go on sale Friday, August 16 at 10 AM MST, with various presales starting Wednesday, August 14 at 10 AM MST.
Jimmy Eat World are also releasing their 2021 Phoenix Sessions for Futures and their tenth album, Surviving (which turns five in October) on vinyl for the first time ever. They were filmed in Phoenix at the Icehouse, and both are available for pre-order now. Watch the series and see the tracklist for both Phoenix Sessions below.
