Back in March, former Dead Kennedys singer Jello Biafra was hospitalized after suffering a stroke. At the time he said he had “lotta of rehabbing to do,” and happily it seems like he’s come a long way since then. He made his return to the stage on Saturday (6/27), joining Wheelchair Sports Camp at TentacleFest, which happened at San Francisco’s Great American Music Hall. Watch a clip of “Make It Make Sense” below.
Back in May, his label Alternative Tentacles said on Facebook that he was “progressing nicely,” writing, “His speech has mostly come back in full, and cognitively, it’s like the stroke never happened. The left side is still weak but it is doing much better than it was. He has been living with me so I can care for him, but he is so much more self sufficient than he was, he will most likely go home this coming week. Thank you again for the outpouring of support. It has meant the world to him.”
We’re glad to see you back in action, Jello!
