Jarvis Cocker and Baxter Dury have a few things in common: they’re both Brits who spend a lot of time in France and are experts at the sexy whisper disco song. So it makes perfect sense that Baxter would hand his new single “Miami” over to Jarvis who in turn makes it a much more explicitly disco number (with sexy whispering). “Jarvis I guess isn’t interested in doing things politely,” says Baxter. “This is a different song, possibly a better one.” Listen to the “Parrot And Cocker Too” remix, and watch the video for the original, below.
