Finnish electropop artist Jaakko Eino Kalevi has announced new album Chaos Magic which will be out November 17 via Domino imprint Weird World. He made the record primarily in his current home of Athens, Greece and it features contributions from Alma Jodorowsky, Jimi Tenor, Faux Real, Yu-Ching Huang and John Moods.
Jaakko calls Chaos Magic a “back to the roots” album, adding it’s inspired by Athens and the Greek word kháos, “meaning an abyss or void that was created when Earth and Heaven were separated.” The first single is darkwave number “I Forget” which Kalevi says is “about blacking out and forgetting everything – who you are, where and why. It might sound serious but it’s fun when it’s connected to this beat.”
