Iggy Pop is a few weeks away from releasing his new album Post Pop Depression, which he made with a very interesting cast of collaborators including Queens of the Stone Age‘s Josh Homme and Dean Fertita, and Arctic Monkeys‘ Matt Helders. He already released two songs from it, and now he put out a third, “Sunday.” It’s led by a disco-rock guitar riff and Iggy’s unmistakable baritone, and it’s definitely a little reminiscent of Iggy’s Bowie collaborations. Iggy and his new band will tour in support of the album this spring. Their NYC show happening April 12 at United Palace Theatre is sold out.
Post Pop Depression comes out March 18 via Loma Vista.
