San Francisco’s Justin Cheromiah has been making spirited, hazy indie rock as High Sunn since he was 14. Now at the ripe age age of 17, Cheromiah has turned the bedroom pop project into an actual band and High Sunn are set to release their first ever studio recording, the Hopeless Romantic EP, which they made with producer Dylan Wall (Naomi Punk, Craft Spells). We’ve got the premiere of closing cut “Good Evening,” a breathless two-minute blast that straddles indiepop and punk that wastes no time sticking its chorus in your head. Listen to that and a few other EP cuts below.
High Sunn’s Hopeless Romantic is out May 19 via Swedish label PNKSLM.
