Destroy Boys have just released their new album Funeral Soundtrack #4 via Hopeless Records today, and it includes a collaboration with two of the other best punk bands around, Mannequin Pussy and Scowl, on the song “You Hear Yes.” It’s an anti-assault/harassment anthem with lines like “Why can’t I walk in the street without men bothering me?” and “I’m sick of being scared on my walk home” all culminating in the hook of “You hear yes when I say no.” It’s as pissed-off as it is catchy, and you can hear it below.
Destroy Boys are also gearing up for a headlining tour, including a show at NYC’s Webster Hall on November 16 with SASAMI and Chokecherry (the latter of whom replaced Crawlers). All dates are listed below.
