On the eve of blink-182’s new album release, Green Day played a small, 800-capacity Las Vegas show and they played a new song called “The American Dream Is Killing Me,” which officially gets released as a single on October 24, and they announced on stage that they’ll be doing a US stadium tour in summer 2024 with The Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, and The Linda Lindas. There were also flyers for the tour at the show and they say “UK / EU you’re next.” Dates, cities, and ticket info are TBA, but stay tuned. Watch a fan-shot video of the new song below.
The very special show also found the band playing Dookie in full for its upcoming 30th anniversary, followed by a career-spanning selection of songs, including the live debut of “Graffitia” from 2020’s Father of All Motherfuckers. Check out the full setlist below.
The intimate Vegas show was a warm-up for this weekend’s When We Were Young festival, which Green Day and blink-182 are co-headlining.
Green Day also recently celebrated Dookie‘s 30th anniversary with a big box set reissue, featuring lots of rarities and previously unreleased material.
The Smashing Pumpkins also recently celebrated a big 30th anniversary, with some special events in honor of Siamese Dream.

The Linda Lindas recently released new single “Resolution/Revolution,” contributed to the Paramore remix album, and covered “Little Bit ‘O Soul” for Amazon’s Totally Killer.
