Great Grandpa returned last year with two fantastic new singles, “Kid” and “Doom,” their first new music since 2019’s Four of Arrows, and now they’ve announced the follow-up to that album. Patience, Moonbeam is due out on March 28 via Run for Cover, and you can see the cover art and tracklist below.
“We’re all like individual swinging pendulums, and every now and then we come into sync for a few rotations,” guitarist Dylan Hanwright says. “Sometimes it’s two of us, sometimes three of us, often it’s not any of us. But when it does come together, it’s really beautiful.”
They’ve shared a third new single, “Junior,” which has more of a heartland rock feel after the ambitious indie rock of the last two tracks. Hear it below.
Great Grandpa will go on their first tour in five years starting later this month, including an NYC show at Baby’s All Right on January 31. See all dates below.
