Foals have shared the video for “Mountain at My Gates” from the forthcoming What Went Down. Made by director Nabil and shot with a GoPro spherical Hero camera, it’s an interactive, virtual reality video where the viewer chooses where the camera is pointed. (Kinda like Bjork’s “Stonemilker” video.) As you spin the camera around (using A/S/D/W keys) you realize there are a few Foals playing and multiple Yannis Philippakis running around. You can try and keep up with them or, if you choose, just stare up at the sky. Check it out below.
