We lost Terry Hall of The Specials, Fun Boy 3 and The Colourfield late last year, and there will be a special two-day celebration of his life and music in Los Angeles on October 13 & 14 with proceeds benefiting Musack that “gives kids & teens a voice through music by providing guitars, drums, and support to music teachers wherever the need arises.”
The live music portion happens in a “Private LA Backyard” on 10/14 and will feature Fishbone, Rancid‘s Tim Armstrong, Specials members Lynval Golding and Horace Panter, No Doubt‘s Tony Kanal, Tom Dumont and Adrian Young, plus Shepard Fairey, and more TBA. Tickets are on sale.
