Field Mouse will release a new album, Episodic, on August 5 via Topshelf Records (pre-order). They were in really good company when recording this one, with Hop Along‘s Joe Reinhart producing and guest appearances from Speedy Ortiz‘s Sadie Dupuis, Swearin’/Waxahatchee/PS Eliot‘s Allison Crutchfield, and Cymbals Eat Guitars‘ Joseph D’Agostino. Lead single “The Mirror” is definitely the kind of song that would appeal to someone who likes all of those bands, and you can check it out below.
