The title track from Parquet Courts’ new album Human Performance, is one of the most affecting tracks the band have ever done, with singer Andrew Savage letting some raw emotions through their often ironic shell. If you ever thought, “I like this but I wish it sounded more like industrial band Front 242” you are in luck. Eaters‘ remix, available on the upcoming Performing Human 12″ single, does just that. Parquet Courts play Brooklyn’s Market Hotel next week (sold out) before a run of Southwest and West Coast dates. They’ll head to Europe this fall — all dates are listed below.
Eaters, meanwhile, will open for Atlanta’s Omni at Mercury Lounge on August 21. That’s an early show (Eaters on at 7 PM) and tickets are available.
