Fans of Canadian indie rock bands named after birds will be excited to learn that Toronto’s Ducks Ltd and Kiwi Jr will be teaming up for a pair of NY shows this summer, playing Tubby’s Kingston on June 21 (tickets on sale soon) and NYC’s Knitting Factory at Baker Falls on June 22. (tickets on sale now).
Ducks Ltd are currently on tour in support of their great new album Harm’s Way and were just in NYC this past weekend, playing three shows as part of the New Colossus Festival. They’ll soon join up with Ratboys on the road.
Kiwi Jr, meanwhile, will be in Austin this week for SXSW and will open for Guided by Voices in June.
