Christian Lee Hutson is a regular collaborator of Phoebe Bridgers, and she sings on, and is one of the producers of, his great new album Paradise Pop. 10. He played an NYC release show for it at Music Hall of Williamsburg on Monday night (9/30), and as Stereogum points out, Phoebe (who was also sighted at this weekend’s All Things Go NYC at Forest Hills Stadium) was on hand for the occasion. Dressed in a hooded robe, she joined him on “Carousel Horses,” “Flamingos,” and “Lose This Number,” and you can watch attendee-taken video below.
During the encore, Christian also paid tribute to the late Kris Kristofferson, who passed away at the age of 88 on Sunday, by covering “Darby’s Castle.” Watch video of that, and see the Music Hall of Williamsburg setlist, below as well.
