Broken Social Scene co-founder Brendan Canning will follow 2013’s You Gots 2 Chill with a new solo album, Home Wrecking Years, on August 12 via Arts & Crafts. He recorded it with his help from his BSS bandmates Sam Goldberg and Justin Peroff, and Liam O’Neil of The Stills.
The lead single is “Book It To Fresno,” a nice dose of poppy indie rock that’s fleshed out with lush arrangements and harmonies. Listen below.
