New Bedford, MA’s Blind Mice count brief Ra Ra Riot drummer Michael Ashley as a member, but you wouldn’t guess they have a former member of that band from listening. They make punk-inspired emo with stadium-sized hooks but with a raw, unpolished style that’s more fit for basement shows. New single “Nervous” off their upcoming Sunday Songs EP (due 3/17 via Animal Style, pre-order) is a great example of this. Check it out for yourself — it premieres below.
