You may remember that Bjork made a video for her song “Stonemilker” that used Virtual Reality technology/headgear and was shown here in NYC at MoMA PS1 and Rough Trade. She’s now put the video on YouTube and some of that VR tech is still works for those just watching on a computer, as you can drag the POV around to follow Bjork, or you can just stare at the sea as you wonder what she’s doing behind you. Having DJ’d at Saint Vitus in Greenpoint last weekend and stopped by Prospect Park for Celebrate Brooklyn!’s kickoff show with Chaka Khan (instagram video/pics from both, below), Bjork brings her Vulnicura show to NYC’s Governors Ball on Saturday (6/5) on the main stage. How her projection-heavy show will translate to a pre-sunset 7 PM set time, we’ll just have to wait and see.
