Ska-punk lifers Big D and the Kids Table have announced their first album in five years. The Good Ole American Saturday Night, the follow-up to 2021’s great Do Your Art, is due out on June 12 via SideOneDummy. It was produced by Joe Gittleman (The Mighty Mighty Bosstones) and Matt Appleton (Reel Big Fish, etc), and you can see the cover art and tracklist below.
The first single is “Whiplash.” “What would you do if you walked into a room and saw your roommate in bed with your girlfriend?” vocalist David McWane asks. “Well, if you want to know the rest of the story, cue up Whiplash!” Watch the video, directed by Mike Richshaw, below.
