Philly’s ASkySoBlack recently confirmed that they’ll follow up their two promising EPs with their debut album, Touch Heaven, and today they revealed album details and released third single “You Sit Useless.” The album comes out January 31 via New Morality Zine (pre-order), and all of the songs released so far find the Philly band dishing out shoegazy heavy rock that brings to mind stuff like Deftones, Superheaven, Fleshwater, etc. Check out all the singles below.
ASkySoBlack will also open for UK shoegazy, nu-metally band Split Chain on in Ridgewood, Queens on February 18 at TV Eye (also with bloodsports), which is right after Split Chain wrap up a tour with Silverstein, Thursday, and Arm’s Length (including NJ and LI shows).
