Arca has announced new album XXXXX which will be out next week, July 31. Originally conceived as a mixtape, the album is in the same spirit as 2020’s @@@@@ and 2013’s &&&&&. Check out the album artwork and tracklist below.
No music has been shared yet, but Arca has also announced a livestream performance that will premiere July 23 at 3:30 PM Eastern on YouTube and Twitch. Directed by Daniel Sannwald, and styled by Akeem Smith, this will be our first glimpse of the new album. “With Feeld’s support and investment, we’re able to put on a show for you with full glam and budget,” Arca says. “Thank you for supporting experimental art. Please tune in. We’re working really hard to create a great show for you, wherever you are.”
