California country/bluegrass band AJ Lee & Blue Summit will release their new album City of Glass on July 19 via Signature Sounds (pre-order), and we’re now premiering its new single “I Can’t Find You At All.” It’s sort of a mini reunion of The Tuttles with AJ Lee, as Blue Summit includes Sullivan Tuttle on guitar and this song features Molly Tuttle and was written by her and Sullivan’s father Jack Tuttle.
“A few years ago, Jack was helping Molly finish a song with a similar theme but decided to flip the script and write one of his own called ‘I Can’t Find You At All,'” AJ says. “Jack told us it’s basically a song about being ghosted! It ended up in our hands and we thought it would be a great fit for City of Glass. It also gave us an opportunity to kind of ‘put the band back together’ by having Molly be a guest artist on the track that Jack wrote. I was amazed at how well our voices still blend together after all these years.”
It’s a lovely, gentle Americana ballad and their voices do indeed blend together very well. Check it out below.
