So many artists, so many songs, so little time. Each week we review a handful of new albums (of all genres), round up even more new music that we’d call “indie,” and talk about what metal is coming out. We post music news, track premieres, and more all day. We update a playlist weekly of some of our current favorite tracks. Here’s a daily roundup with a bunch of interesting, newly released songs in one place.
BEDSORE – “SCARS OF LIGHT”
Italian prog/psych death metal band Bedsore have shared the second taste of their upcoming album Dreaming the Strife for Love and it’s another great one. If you’re not familiar with Bedsore but you’re into stuff like Blood Incantation or Tribulation, change that now.

DEADBODY – “HORRORS OF THE REFORMED” / TRIBAL GAZE – “LET HIS SERVANTS SERVE”
Death metal/hardcore crossover bands Deadbody (ft. Taylor & Colin Young of God’s Hate, Twitching Tongues, etc) and Tribal Gaze have a split EP arriving next week, and it’s shaping up to be as stupidly heavy as you’d expect. These two new tracks are no exception.

MILE END – “NO EXCUSE” (ft. DEAR GOD)
Brampton, Ontario hardcore band Mile End have announced a self-titled debut LP, due next week (11/15) via New Morality Zine. The band cite ’90s hardcore bands like 108 and Threadbare as influences, and you can hear those vibes coming through on new single “No Excuse.”

WUSSY – “INHALER”
Cincinnati indie rock vets Wussy will release their first album in six years in just a couple weeks. Here’s another early taste with “Inhaler” that has just the right amount of twang.

CHEMTRAILS – “MISS ANTHROPOCENE”
Chemtrails hail from Manchester, UK released new album The Joy of Sects back in January and have now followed it up with this new single that fuzes glammy stomp with helium vocals.

DOVES – “RENEGADE”
Manchester greats Doves announced their sixth album, Constellations For The Lonely, today and shared its first single.

FACS – “WISH DEFENSE”
FACS have announced a new album, Wish Defense, which will be out February 7 via Trouble in Mind. They made it with the late Steve Albini, and in fact this was the last album he engineered.

STRICT – “SAY IT”
Quicksand and former Deftones bassist Sergio Vega and his wife Annette Rodriguez have announced a new band called Strict with their industrial-tinged lead single “Say It.” Read more here.
