So many artists, so many songs, so little time. GREG FREEMAN – “CURTAIN”
Greg Freeman’s upcoming album Burnover is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated albums within the whole Americana-infused indie rock movement that’s going on at the moment, and second single “Curtain” is another great one.

HAIM – “TAKE ME BACK”
“For the first time since high school, the three of us all found ourselves single,” Haim say about “Take Me Back,” the fourth single off their new album I Quit. “We were going out a lot; just the three of us spending quality time together. So much so that we would reminisce about living at home and all the crazy stories that happened during our teenage years.”

KAITLYN AURELIA SMITH – “URGES”
The word objectification has different meanings. That sense of degrading things is so common, but it could also mean representing an idea with a concrete object,” Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith says of her new single. “I’ve always personified objects, and accessing that second definition helped me understand and follow the synesthetic urges I was feeling.” New album GUSH is out in August.

SARAH REGISTER – “DOES IT HURT”
“To me, this video is a living, breathing piece of art—performance, memory, and movement held in a series of charged visual breaths,” Sarah Register says of ‘does it hurt.’ “It’s the clearest expression yet of the world I’ve been moving toward: where experimental pop, visual performance, and physical expression converge. What Amy Rose Khoshbin and I captured years ago now feels reborn—intimate, visceral, and opening toward something even larger.”

KEINEMUSIK & BOYS NOIZE – “CRAZY FOR IT” FT. VINSON
Keinemusik debuted their new Boys Noize collaboration “Crazy For It” at a set at the Pyramids of Giza last April. Over a year later, the studio version has arrived.

JESS JOY – “DREAMS”
Los Angeles based artist and musician jess joy has shared “dreams” from her new album WON’T BE KICKED OUT THE GARDEN which was produced by Deerhoof’s Greg Saunier. She says: “i describe the album as a psychological, romantic comedy-drama about holding onto love in a world on edge / searching for belonging in polycrisis. ‘dreams’ poses the question: do we truly possess, or are we possessed? we act in roles & sleep through portions of our lives to survive—but I believe that our subconscious selves, where our repressed desires live, are very much awake, writhing, & fighting to be expressed.”

YUMI ZOUMA – “BLISTER”
“We found strength in simplicity, discovering that the more stripped-down we went, the more forceful the impact became,” Yumi Zouma say of their new single. “‘Blister’ surged ahead on the back of our most anthemic riffs, conjuring images in our minds of C4, Channel Z, prepaid flip-phone text plans, and the Big Day Out main stage under the punishing heat of the hole in the ozone layer.”
