Reggae and dub producer Prince Fatty released new album Artikal Intelligence today which he made with his Supersized Band, and features guest vocals from Cornel Campbell, Horseman, Earl Sixteen and more.

ADRIANNE LENKER – “FREE TREASURE”
“Just when I thought I couldn’t feel more, I feel a little more.” Big Thief’s Adrianne Lenker will release new solo album Bright Future this Friday and has shared this delicate duet with Mat Davidson as the final pre-release single.

BECCA MANCARI – “MONDAY MONDAY MONDAY” (TEGAN & SARA COVER)
Ahead of their tour with Tegan & Sara, Becca Mancari has released an airy cover of their 2002 song “Monday Monday Monday.”

ROSIE TUCKER – “BIG FISH/NO FUN”
Ahead of the release of their fourth album on Friday, Rosie Tucker has shared a final advance single, the propulsive indie rock track “Big Fish/No Fun.”

HOT JOY – “FOLDED TONGUE”
Austin McCutchen of Choir Vandals (who also sometimes plays in Foxing and Squint) now co-leads the band Hot Joy with co-vocalist/bassist Nicole Bonura. They’ll release the Small Favor EP on April 19, and they’ve just shared the airy, fuzzy indie rock of “Folded Tongue.”

RITCHIE – “LOOPING”
RiTchie of Injury Reserve/By Storm has shared another taste of his upcoming solo album Triple Digits [112], and it finds him singing and rapping over a suspenseful backdrop.

MUI ZYU – “SPARKY” FT. LEI, E
mui zyu’s second album, nothing or something to die for, is out in May, and the latest single is the otherworldly “sparky,” featuring lei, e (formerly Emmy The Great). “‘sparky’ is a song about welcoming simple happinesses in to your world, even in the face of awfulness,” Eva Liu says. “It also plays with different ideas of what ‘happiness’ is, and observes the strange pursuit of endlessly chasing it, often looking in the wrong places, often at your own physical and mental expense. The song is named after the dog ‘Sparky’ from the opening of David Lynch’s ‘Blue Velvet’ who is the perfect image of joyfulness – biting water from a hose in front of their dead owner. A very big happiness for me though is having the amazing lei, e (Emma Lee Moss formerly Emmy The Great) feature on this song, a musician and artistic wonder i’ve looked up to for years. i’ve opened for her at some special shows and sung Cantonese covers together at the Hackney Chinese Community Centre.”
