So many artists, so many songs, so little time. REDVEIL – “BROWN SUGAR” (ft. SMINO)
After starting his career on a pretty prolific note, Maryland/DC rapper redveil hasn’t released a full-length album since his excellent 2022 LP learn 2 swim and we are really hoping the release of this soulful new single means he’s working on changing that.

GUIDED BY VOICES – “PHANTASMAGORIC UPSTARTS”
We’re a month away from Guided by Voice’s new album Thick Rich and Delicious and they’ve shared another early taste. “This album was a blast to record,” says guitarist Doug Gillard. “It’s the sound of Kevin [March], Mark [Shue], and me in a room—no overdubs until Bob [Pollard] and Bobby [Bare Jr.] recorded the lead and backing vocals, respectively. ‘Phantasmagoric Upstarts’ is a great example of this three-piece approach, with Bob’s incredible lyrics and rangey melody woven throughout.”

SOFIA ISELLA – “OUT IN THE GARDEN”
Los Angeles artist Sofia Isella co-wrote and co-produced her eerie new single with Mr. Hudson. “I got called demonic for the first time,” she says. “I call it, losing my demonic virginity. It’s coming for us all, ladies.”

TŌTH – “SPIRALING”
“You can see me losing my mind over the course of the video,” Alex Toth says of the visual accompaniment to his new single. “At one point the mic literally falls apart, and I’m trying to keep it together while singing ‘When I’m really woke I won’t be scared to listen…’ It’s chaos, but the perfect metaphor for the song.”

GASKET – “BLOOD TO BONE”
Baltimore metalcore band Gasket have announced their self-titled debut album, due November 21 via Blue Grape. Here’s the ear-piercing, ass-kicking new single “Blood To Bone.”
