So many artists, so many songs, so little time. MARK LANEGAN BAND – “UNION TOMBSTONE” (FEAT. BECK)
The late Mark Lanegan’s 2004 album Bubblegum just got a 20th anniversary deluxe reissue and among the many previously unheard bonus tracks is this bluesy collab with Beck.

ALLEGRA KRIEGER – “CAME”
“This song is about depression and feeling stuck in destructive patterns,” Allegra Krieger says of the latest single off her new album Art of the Unseen Infinity Machine. “It’s about wanting to connect with something outside of yourself and giving in to that impulse.”

DUMMY – “OPALINE BUBBLETEAR” & “BLUE DADA”
Dummy release new album Free Energy next week and the band have delivered up a double dose preview, though you’d be forgven if you thought it was one song. “Opaline Bubbletear” is a saxy intro for the danceable and drony “Blue Dada.”

ENUMCLAW – “GROCERY STORE”
Enumclaw’s second album and first for Run for Cover, Home in Another Life, is out this Friday, and they’ve shared a final advance single ahead of its release, the noisy, fuzzy “Grocery Store.”

WILLIAM BASINSKI – “SEPTEMBER 23RD (EXCERPT)”
Composer and sound architect William Basinski has announced a new album, September 23, which will be out September 27 via Temporary Residence. It’s the first release in Basinski’s Arcadia Archive series which is “dedicated to the discovery and recovery of his life’s work” and will feature “archival piano recordings captured at Arcadia, his former loft in Brooklyn.” September 23rd started as a piano piece Basinski composed in high school in the mid-1970s, but evolved into something different entirely.
