2024 Emmy winners: ‘Shōgun,’ ‘The Bear,’ ‘Hacks,’ ‘Baby Reindeer,’ more

The 76th Primetime Emmy Awards were given out, and FX/Hulu’s Shōgun was the night’s (very) big winner with 18 awards, including Best Dramatic Series, Lead Actor (Hiroyuki Sanada), Lead Actress (Anna Sawai), Directing and more. It is the most awarded single season of television in Emmy history.

Another FX/Hulu series, The Bear, set a record for most Emmys by a comedy series in a single year with 11 awards, including Best Actor (Jeremy Allen White), Supporting Actor (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) and Supporting Actress (Liza Colón-Zayas), and Best Directing. Hacks, however, won Best Comedy Series and also picked up Best Actress (Jean Smart) and Best Writing.

Netflix’s Baby Reindeer won six Emmys, including Outstanding Anthology Series, Supporting Actress (Jessica Gunning), and creator/star Richard Gadd won both Lead Actor and Writing.
