So many artists, so many songs, so little time. Each week we review a handful of new albums (of all genres), round up even more new music that we’d call “indie,” and talk about what metal is coming out. We post music news, track premieres, and more all day. We update a playlist weekly of some of our current favorite tracks. Here’s a daily roundup with a bunch of interesting, newly released songs in one place.
LIL YACHTY & VEEZE – “SORRY NOT SORRY”
Lil Yachty continues his Michigan rap love by teeming up with Detroit rapper Veeze for “Sorry Not Sorry.”

PEGGY GOU – “FIND THE WAY”
Peggy Gou follows up this year’s I Hear You with this new single that continues her exploration of early-’90s dance music.
“I love sharing summer memories as well as positivity through my music and lyrics,” Gou said in a press release. “‘Find The Way’ encapsulates this energy, and I was thrilled to partner with Coke Studio to deliver this summer track. I’m a summer person at heart and it’s been great to work with South Korean designer Jin Young again on the artwork for my label, Gudu Records.”

ALKALINE TRIO – “THE SACRIFICE” / “AT SICKNESS”
Ahead of their tour supporting this year’s Blood, Hair, and Eyeballs, Alkaline Trio have shared a new doulbe a-side single featuring two previously unheard tracks. “We are very excited to be releasing these two songs as a seven inch,” Matt Skiba says. “Putting out an EP on 7” vinyl is something we haven’t had the opportunity to do for a long time, so having two new songs to offer up on such a classic format is fun for us as vinyl enthusiasts. Both ‘At Sickness’ and ‘The Sacrifice’ were initially written and recorded for our Blood, Hair, and Eyeballs album and leaving them off the record wasn’t an easy decision. It was done merely in the interest of the full-length’s running time, which we wanted to keep under 40 minutes. We’re psyched that these two numbers are being released and will be available on their own special format, no less.”

ORVILLE PECK – “PERMANENTLY LONELY”
Orville Peck has a brand new song in the new Elizabeth Banks satirical thriller Skincare. “Permanently Lonely” is an appropriately cinematic ballad.

JÓNSI – “FOREST TRILL”
Birdsong joins swelling strings and electronics on “Forest Trill,” the latest track from Jónsi’s new album First Light, which was originally conceived as the score to a video game.

FLYING LOTUS – “GARMONBOZIA”
Flying Lotus is back with a new single, “Garmonbozia,” just ahead of his festival appearance at London’s All Points East this weekend. David Lynch fans will recognize the title from Twin Peaks lore. “Baby, I’ve been stuck in this room with you,” he sings over a dark, creepy, synthy beat. “In the Red Room you’ve lost your way home… Is it the future or past, tomorrow / I give you all my pain and sorrow.”

SIXPENCE NONE THE RICHER – “WE ARE LOVE”
Sixpence None The Richer’s original lineup is gearing up for its first tour in nearly 20 years and now they also announced a new EP, Rosemary Hill, due October 4 via Flatiron Recordings. The first single is “We Are Love.”

DORA JAR – “RAGDOLL”
Dora Jar’s debut album is out in September, and she’s shared another single from it, “Ragdoll,” which she says “is about me feeling sometimes powerless in my own life. And also finding the power in going with the flow. If I don’t have control let me just swing around and decide I’m ok with this.”

BANDMANRILL – “ROCK”
Bandmanrill drops off a brief Jersey club banger, the 83-second “Rock.”

DISCLOSURE – “SHE’S GONE, DANCE ON”
Disclosure have shared a new full-band version of their May single “She’s Gone, Dance On,” which includes their dad Robin Lawrence on electric guitar.

SPRING SILVER – “IT’S IMPERATIVE”
Spring Silver (aka K Nkanza) has shared the latest taste of don’t you think it’s strange?, which finds K putting a Prince-like spin on punky indie rock.

SNOOZER – “FADDA RADDA”
Snoozer’s Tom Kelly also plays in Alex G’s band, and Alex G fans definitely might like the sleepy indie rock of “Fadda Radda.”

GREENWITCH – “THE CYBERNETICIST”
LA death metallers Greenwitch will release their Forced Out of Existence LP on October 4 via Maggot Stomp, and here’s the gnarly opening track, “The Cyberneticist.”

CHUCK RAGAN – “WILD IN OUR WAYS”
Chuck Ragan of Hot Water Music has announced his first new solo album in 10 years, Love and Lore, and he released new single “Wild In Our Ways.” Read more here.
