So many artists, so many songs, so little time. Each week we review a handful of new albums (of all genres), round up even more new music that we’d call “indie,” and talk about what metal is coming out. We post music news, track premieres, and more all day. We update a playlist weekly of some of our current favorite tracks. Here’s a daily roundup with a bunch of interesting, newly released songs in one place.
ANKLEBITER / PREVENTION SPLIT
Hardcore bands Anklebiter and Prevention have teamed up for a split EP on Sunday Drive Records/Delayed Gratification. They contribute two songs each, and both are short, fast, hard-hitting, no-frills hardcore punk songs.

NORMANI – “1:59” (ft. GUNNA)
Former Fifth Harmony member Normani has finally announced her long-awaited debut album, Dopamine, due June 14 via RCA. New single “1:59” is an R&B ballad with some late ’90s vibes.

KILLER MIKE – “EXIT 9” (ft. OFFSET & BLXST)
Killer Mike has shared a new version of his Blxst collab “Exit 9,” and this one features a new verse from fellow Atlanta rapper Offset of Migos.

CHRIS STAPLETON – “I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN IT” (TOM PETTY COVER)
Chris Stapleton has been compared to Tom Petty plenty of times during his career, so he’s a perfect candidate to cover the late, great songwriter for the upcoming Petty Country: A Country Music Celebration Of Tom Petty compilation. The comp arrives June 21 via Petty Legacy/Big Machine, and Stapleton’s take on the riffy Southern rocker “I Should Have Known It” is here today.

CHRISTINE AND THE QUEENS – “RENTRER CHEZ MOI”

DESIRE – “HUMAN NATURE”
Desire will release their second album on Italians Do It Better later this year and here’s the second single, a very engaging Italo banger. “The question of nurture versus nature is as old as time itself,” Desire say. “In the age of perpetual distraction, Desire asks…if this is how they made you, what are you going to do about it? After all, love is a crime of passion.”

DECIUS (FAT WHITE FAMILY / WARMDUSCHER) – DECIUS TRAX EP V
DECIUS, aka Fat White Family’s Lias Saoudi and members of Warmduscher, are back with a new EP of serious techno.

BMX BANDITS – “THE WORLD WAS ROUND”
Scottish indie cult heroes BMX Bandits released new album Dreamers On The Run today and this is the new single. “This song again deals with deep sadness and depression and the confusion I often feel about interacting with the world,” says Andrew Pattie. “Love is important to ground you. Im very lucky to have a stable and loving partner. This song is for Alexis.”

BEVERLY KILLS – “SUNSET DRIVE”
Beverly Kills’ second album is on the way, and they’ve shared the first single, dream pop track “Sunset Drive,” which they say is “an homage to when life feels like an animated reality.”

MISSING LINK – “NEW YORK MINUTE”
New York hardcore band Missing Link have announced their debut full-length, Watch Me Bleed, due June 7 via Triple B. The first single is the ass-beating “New York Minute.”

JAY WORTHY & DAM-FUNK – “WESTIDE” (ft. DRAM)
Jay Worthy, Dam-Funk, and DRAM team up a some gooey West Coast funk/rap hybrid.

AMYTHYST KIAH – “IN THE PINES”
Country singer Amythyst Kiah has released a rendition of the oft-covered “In The Pines” (also known as “Where Did You Sleep Last Night?,” especially to Nirvana fans). This song always tugs at the heartstrings, and Amythyst’s version is no different.

SHENSEEA – “NEVA NEVA”
Dancehall star Shenseea gets some sunny, nostalgic reggae vibes on with new single “Neva Neva.”

SABA & NO I.D. – “HEAD.RAP” (ft. MADISON MCFERRIN, OGI & JORDAN WARD)
Chicago rapper Saba and legendary Chicago producer No I.D. have been gearing up for a collaborative album called From The Private Collection Of Saba And No ID, and today brings this soul-infused new single.

Myke Towers and Bad Bunny team up with a clubby reggaeton banger.
