So many artists, so many songs, so little time. Each week we review a handful of new albums (of all genres), round up even more new music that we’d call “indie,” and talk about what metal is coming out. We post music news, track premieres, and more all day. We update a playlist weekly of some of our current favorite tracks. Here’s a daily roundup with a bunch of interesting, newly released songs in one place.
ACE ENDERS – “DAMAGED GOODS” & “HEAVY”
The Early November singer Ace Enders has announced a new solo album, Posture Syndrome, due October 31 via Pure Noise. Two singles are out now: the sorta-country-ish “Damaged Goods” and the somber, folky “Heavy.”

STELLA DONNELLY – “FEEL IT CHANGE”
Stella Donnelly announced a new album, Love and Fortune, due out November 7 via Dot Dash/Remote Control. It includes her August singles “Baths” and “Standing Ovation,” and she’s shared another new song, “Feel It Change,” a wistful indie rock track.

MUDVAYNE – “STICKS AND STONES”
Nu metal vets Mudvayne are releasing a double A-side 7″ with their first two new songs in 16 years, the recently-released “Hurt People Hurt People” and the just-released “Sticks and Stones.” Read more here and pick up our exclusive clear/black splatter variant of the 7″ in the BV shop.

WEAKENED FRIENDS – “NOSEBLEED”
“Nosebleed” “came out of a conversation with a friend who was talking about their breakup,” Weakened Friends say of the latest single from their new album Feels Like Hell. “On the surface, they sounded like they were over it, but underneath it all, you could feel the weight of what they weren’t saying. It’s a feeling most of us know too well: pretending we’ve moved on while still being haunted by the past.”

POLIÇA – “WASTED ME”
“Ryan Olson and Peder Mannerfelt first connected at a Totally Gross National Party in Minneapolis a few years ago,” says Channy Leaneagh of this new Poliça single. “Peder joined the Poliça recording session at Pachyderm and Wasted Me was one of the songs to come out of that collaboration. Lyrically, Wasted Me came from the endless loop of selling ourselves just to earn the chance to keep selling ourselves.” New album Dreams Go is out October 17.

KESHA & ORVILLE PECK – “TENNESSEE” (FT. HUDSON MOHAWKE & TAYLA PARX)
All Things Go: 10 Years, a charity compilation benefitting The Ally Coalition, is due out on November 7, and the latest single is “Tennessee” from Kesha and Orville Peck, and featuring Hudson Mohawke and Taylor Parx. It made its debut in the short film Stud Country, and Kesha says, “Making this song with Orville, Tayla and Hudson was so much fun. I felt safe to explore my southern roots and excited entering a room with these artists I’ve looked up to for years and making music that felt real and honest. They’re all inspiring creatives who just want to make great music. Knowing it’s helping The Ally Coalition makes it even more special, I’m so proud to finally let the world hear what Orville and I have cooked up. Enjoy!”

NAÏM AMOR & KID CONGO POWERS – “SURF SIRENS”
Naïm Amor and Kid Congo Powers have announced new album Tucson Safari which will be out October 24 via In the Red. “Surf Sirens” epitomizes the LP’s mix of rockabilly guitars and vintage electronics.

KALI UCHIS – “CRY ABOUT IT” (FT. RAVYN LENAE)
Kali Uchis announced a deluxe edition of her 2025 album Sincerely. Sincerely: P.S. is due out September 26 via Capitol, and it includes the new track “Cry About It,” featuring Ravyn Lenae.

CROOKED MAN – “DON’T LEAVE ME THIS WAY” (THELMA HOUSTON COVER)
Crooked Man, aka Sheffield producer Richard Barratt, has just released this throbbing banger of a cover of the Thelma Houston disco classic.

MALIBU – “SO SWEET & WILLING”
French producer Malibu has announced her debut album, Vanities, which will be out October 3 via YEAR0001. This is the blissed-out, ethereal first single.

CASEY DIENEL (WHITE HINTERLAND) – “SEVENTEEN”
“What a strange time to be releasing happy music,” says Casey Dienel who used to record as White Hinterland. “Yet, the darker things get, the tighter I cling to joy. Not the vibes-only, rosé-all-day variety, but what Audre Lorde calls ‘a form of energy for change.'” New album My Heart is an Outlaw is out 10/17 via Jealous Butcher.

NICKY – “THE FALL”
London-based queer performance artist and songwriter NICKY will release new album With on October 28 via Prah Recordings. The LP was produced by Cate Le Bon collaborator Euan Hinshelwood and features French counterculture icon and Jubilee star Hermine Demoriane. “The Fall” is airy, dramatic piano pop.

Gorillaz announced their guest-filled ninth album, The Mountain, and shared the Sparks-featuring first single, which you can read more about here.
