So many artists, so many songs, so little time. Each week we review a handful of new albums (of all genres), round up even more new music that we’d call “indie,” and talk about what metal is coming out. We post music news, track premieres, and more all day. We update a playlist weekly of some of our current favorite tracks. Here’s a daily roundup with a bunch of interesting, newly released songs in one place.
OLOF DREIJER & DIVA CRUZ – “BRUJAS”
The Knife’s Olof Dreijer has shared a new collaboration with Columbian/Swedish percussionist, vocalist and DJ Diva Cruz, mutant electro-pop track “Brujas.”

SOUR WIDOWS – “BIG DOGS”
Ahead of the release of their debut full-length album, Revival of a Friend, later this month, Sour Widows have shared a final advance single, “Big Dogs.” “Once upon a time there were two twin brothers named Albert and Henry,” Maia Sinako says. “They lived in a beautiful house at the end of a long quiet street. Albert and Henry were very big and strong, so big and so strong people were almost scared of them when they walked by. But on the inside, Albert and Henry felt small, like children, afraid of the world and the people in it. That’s why they stayed in the beautiful house at the end of the long quiet street. Out of sight, undisturbed, the twin brothers ran free, rolling in the leaves on the lawn, chasing birds, or cats into trees. Because they were dogs. The biggest dogs I’ve ever seen.”

L’IMPÉRATRICE – “ANY WAY” FT. MAGGIE ROGERS
L’Impératrice’s new album Pulsar is out tomorrow (6/7), and ahead of its release they’ve shared the Maggie Rogers-featuring “Any Way.” “The French way is that we are pretty slow people,” Charles de Boisseguin says. “We really take time to make things good. But Maggie Rogers showed up and showed us her skills and the American way. It was a magical moment.” Rogers adds, “L’Impératrice has been one of my favorite bands for a few years now, so when we started talking about working together on some music, I jumped at the opportunity to travel to Paris and create with them. The song came together really naturally and effortlessly in one afternoon and I really think it represents this perfect hybrid of what we both do. I’m so happy it’s out in the world.”

KAMASI WASHINGTON – “HOPE MAN”
Having recently released new album Fearless Movement, Kamasi Washington has released this new track as part of Apple Music’s exclusive “Freedom Songs” series celebrating Black jazz artists for Juneteenth and Black Music Month.

COLA – “PULLING QUOTES”
Tim D’Arcy says Cola’s new single is “about a relationship where two people are approaching each other like journalists, or perhaps even are journalists. The music is so bright and open I felt the lyrics needed to be a bit cheeky to match the tone. There is definitely some pathos, though, in the darkness of the bridge.” Cola’s new album The Gloss is out next week.

BACCHAE – “JUST A RAT”
DC post-punks Bacchae have shared the third taste of their J. Robbins-produced Next Time, and, as the band says: “Bacchae generally play punk music that’s emotional and self-reflective, but sometimes we get goofy with it—as demonstrated by the bass-thumping dance-punk song, ‘Just a Rat.’ What if you were just a rat, eating garbage in a nightclub dumpster? Sometimes it feels so good to live chaotically, like a rat.”

CAMP TRASH – “NORMAL, IL”
Florida’s Camp Trash have unleashed a new sunny, ’90s-style power pop song named after the Illinois town Normal.

D’EON – “LEVIATHAN”
Montreal pop experimentalist d’Eon will self-release new album Leviathan on June 21, and here’s the piano-forward title track.

ENDS OF SANITY – “E.O.S.” & “NOT ALONE”
North Carolina metallic hardcore band have dropped a two-song promo via DAZE, and “Not Alone” features vocals from Magnitude’s Russell Bussey and Advent’s Joe Musten.

WRAITH – “MERCHANT OF DEATH”
Indiana blackened speed metallers Wraith follow “Heathen’s Touch” with the whiplash-inducing “Merchant of Death.” Their new LP Fueled By Fear drops later this month (6/28) via Prosthetic Records.

DESTROY BOYS – “BOYFEEL”
