So many artists, so many songs, so little time. Each week we review a handful of new albums (of all genres), round up even more new music that we’d call “indie,” and talk about what metal is coming out. We post music news, track premieres, and more all day. We update a playlist weekly of some of our current favorite tracks. Here’s a daily roundup with a bunch of interesting, newly released songs in one place.
OVRKAST & CARDO – “CUT UP”
Oakland indie-rapper Ovrkast and West Coast-style producer Cardo have announced a collaborative EP, KASTGOTWINGS, due October 11. First single “Cut Up” is a great fusion of their individual styles.

Peggy Gou has released a deluxe digital edition of this year’s I Hear You that comes with a bunch of remixes by Koreless, Spray, Mogwaa and more.

ADRIANNE LENKER – “BRODIE SESSIONS”
Adrianne Lenker has shared her four-song session she recorded for Copenhagen’s Broddie Sessions, featuring “Vampire Empire,” “Sadness As A Gift,” “Donut Seam” and “No Machine” from Bright Future, accompanied by Nick Hakim.

PONY – “EVERY LITTLE CRUMB”
Toronto grunge-punks PONY have dropped a catchy new song ahead of their tour with Drug Church.

WILD PINK – “DULLING THE HORNS”
Wild Pink’s new album Dulling The Horns is out next week, and he’s shared the title track. “”This song came together in like an hour or two, way faster than any of the others on the record which is pretty rare for me,” bandleader John Ross says. “It was one of the last songs I wrote for the album and naming the record after it felt like the right thing to do. I think it’s basically a song about moving on.”

TWO SHELL – “EVERYBODY WORLDWIDE”
UK electronic duo Two Shell have announced their self-titled debut album, due October 25 via Young, and the first single is the bouncy, melodic “Everybody Worldwide.”

DUFF MCKAGAN – “HEROES” (DAVID BOWIE COVER) & “TRUE TO THE DEATH ROCK N’ ROLL BALLAD”
Ahead of his Lighthouse Tour, Guns N’ Roses’ Duff McKagan has shared two new singles, a cover of David Bowie’s “Heroes” and an original track, “True to the Death Rock N’ Roll Ballad.” “We thought it was good idea to put out a couple of fresh songs right here on the eve of the Lighthouse tour,” he says. “Choosing David Bowie’s HEROES seemed to be a natural subject matter for me (I am of course, a massive history nerd)…star-crossed lovers in the shadow of the mid-70’s cold-war era Berlin Wall. To try and compliment this era, I chose a sort of 70’s glam-rock song that I wrote some time last year, TRUE TO THE DEATH ROCK N ROLL BALLAD, another lyric where love and lust and time are the central figures. We hope you dig this ‘single’ and thank you all for just being you!”

GRIEF RITUAL – “BILE”
UK metal/hardcore bruisers Grief Ritual have announced their debut album, Collapse, due January 31 via Church Road. The first single is the ferocious “Bile.”

SQUANDERERS (WENDY EISENBERG, DAVID GRUBBS, KRAMER) – “THEME FOR SQUANDERERS”
Guitarists Wendy Eisenberg and David Grubbs along with producer and Shimmy-Disc founder Kramer have formed new group Squanderers who will release their debut album, If a Body Meet a Body, on November 22. “Theme For Squanderers” is nicely eerie and atmospheric.

TRUST FUND – “THE MIRROR”
Trust Fund, aka Sheffield, UK-based singer-songwriter Ellis Jones, will soon be back with new album Has It Been A While? on November 1 via Tapete. “The Mirror” is a gorgeous slice of minimal folk that has Jones duetting with Radiant Heart’s Celia MacDougall.

THE CURE – “ALONE”
We’re finally getting a new The Cure album in about a month and spacious, perfectly gloomy first single “Alone” is a good argument for Songs of a Lost World being worth the wait.

EX-VÖID – “SWANSEA”
Ex-Vöid, the London-based band led by former Joanna Gruesome chief creatives Lan McArdle and Owen Williams, have announced a new album, In Love Again, which will be out January 17. The first single and opening song on the album is “Swansea,” named for the seaside city in Wales, and it grabs you instantly with its pleasingly messy guitar noise, big chorus and guitar hook (a little Teenage Fanclub in there), and the wonderful harmonies of McArdle and Williams.

COMMON SAGE – “VEHICLES”
