So many artists, so many songs, so little time. Here’s a daily roundup with a bunch of interesting, newly released songs in one place.
FUTURE TEENS – “BAD FAITH”
Future Teens’ new album Still Life is due out on May 8 via Take This to Heart, and the new single is “Bad Faith.” “I wrote this out of frustration with people who hide behind belief or opinion to justify cruelty,” vocalist and guitarist Daniel Radin says. “It’s about hypocrisy, bad faith, and the quiet anger that builds when you watch others make the world harder for no reason. Sometimes you have to call it what it is — not a debate, just a lack of empathy. It came from watching people weaponize faith and opinion against others, then act like it’s noble. It’s part rant, part reckoning — a moment where I stopped trying to be polite about intolerance.”

ACTIVE CHILD – “NEEDED YOU”
Active Child announced a new self-titled album, due out May 15 via Sony. It was co-produced with Alex Goose, and he’s shared the new single, “Needed You.” “Pursuing art feels less romantic and more chaotic as I age,” he says. “It demands a selfish, often solitary lifestyle that can feel at odds with being a father. It’s produced a schism within me. A divide that requires me to bend the truth to make myself and others feel safe. You speak half-truths to insulate yourself from life’s unknowns. You become a protector.”

KEY GLOCK – “LOCO”
Memphis rapper Key Glock has shared his first new music of the year with “Loco,” and is teasing more to come.

MINA TINDLE – “LADIES”
Mina Tindle announced an expanded version of her 2025 album Compass Rosa, due out April 24 via s76. It includes three new tracks, one of which features Sufjan Stevens, and she’s shared “Ladies,” which she says is “an ode to the all-knowing women in my life — those who always seem to sense what’s coming, for better or worse, and who still find the courage to keep going and move forward.”

FROG – “DARK OUT”
New Rochelle band Frog make ’70s-style pop and are gearing up to release their eighth album, Frog for Sale, on April 17. “Dark Out” is very catchy in a Harry Nilsson / McCartney kind of way.

SHE’S GREEN – “PAPER THIN”
