So many artists, so many songs, so little time. Each week we review a handful of new albums (of all genres), round up even more new music that we’d call “indie,” and talk about what metal is coming out. We post music news, track premieres, and more all day. We update a playlist weekly of some of our current favorite tracks. Here’s a daily roundup with a bunch of interesting, newly released songs in one place.
COOTIE CATCHER – “PUZZLE POP”
Toronto band Cootie Catcher have been stirring up some buzz in the lead-up to their new album Something We All Got, which arrives February 27 via Carpark. Here’s the rickety indie rock/bedroom pop of new single “Puzzle Pop.”

DAPHNI – “GOOD NIGHT BABY” & “TALK TO ME”
Dan Snaith’s new Daphni album Butterfly is out in February and here are two more songs from it. He says “Good Night Baby” was “meant to be a mostly drums only club track but somewhere along the way it became a mushy loved up track with all the feels.” As for “Talk To me,” it “stuck to the brief more.”

SCOUT GILLETT – “TOO FAST TO LAST”
LA-via-Brooklyn indie songwriter Scout Gillett has announced her sophomore album, Tough Touch, due March 6 via Slouch Records. Here’s the punchy, catchy new single “Too Fast to Last.”

LAPÊCHE – “DOUBLE KNOTTED”
As we approach the release of LAPÊCHE’s new album Autotelic (due 2/6 via Tiny Engines), we get this hypnotic, driving new single.

PAEAR – “END OF THE WORLD”
Paear’s first album in seven years, Doppelgänger, comes out this Friday (1/16) and today the Brooklyn indie rock band have shared one more taste of it.

JANE REMOVER – “CONVERSION 2”
Having kicked off 2026 with new single “Headbanger,” Jane Remover’s already got another one.

BOSSE-DE-NAGE – “NO SUCH PLACE”
San Francisco atmospheric black metallers Bosse-de-Nage have announced their first album in eight years, Hidden Fires Burn Hottest, along with new single “No Such Place.” Read more about it here.

A$AP ROCKY – “HELICOPTER$”
A$AP Rocky‘s long-awaited new album Don’t Be Dumb is finally out this Friday (1/16), and Rocky just released another single from it, “Helicopter$.” Read about it here and pre-order the vinyl here.

MORGAN NAGLER – “GRASSOLINE”
After co-writing songs with Phoebe Bridgers, Margo Price, Kim Deal, HAIM, and others, Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter Morgan Nagler (Whispertown, Supermoon) has announced her debut solo album I’ve Got Nothing to Lose, and I’m Losing It. She co-produced it with King Tuff‘s Kyle Thomas, and it also features backing vocals from Allison Crutchfield, Madi Diaz, and Bethany Cosentino, and guitar from Courtney Barnett, Meg Duffy, and Harrison Whitford.
