DE LA SOUL – “DAY IN THE SUN (GETTIN’ WIT U)” FT. Q-TIP & YUMMY
De La Soul and Q-Tip are a classic combo and they’ve done it again on this second single from their upcoming album Cabin in the Sky.

GLIXEN – “MEDICINE BOW”
Ahead of their tour with Glare, Glixen have shared a new single, “Medicine Bow.” “It’s a sense of urgency bound to the quiet yearning for self-comfort,” they say. “The song drifts between lucidity and a fever dream, where soft vulnerability meets slow-burning decay. The lead and rhythm guitars melt and unmeld in a hypnotic blur, mirroring the emotional push and pull at the heart of the track. With each refrain, ‘Medicine Bow’ becomes a reflection of that internal ache to hold on while letting go — a sonic unraveling that feels intimate and disoriented.”

HERCULES & LOVE AFFAIR – “SOMEONE ELSE IS CALLING” FT HIPS & LIPS
Andy Butler is back with a new Hercules & Love Affair EP titled Someone Else Is Calling which teams him with Quinn Whalley of DECIUS and Iceland’s Hips & Lips aka Elín Ey. The title track is a striking return to the danceable side of Hercules & Love Affair after 2022’s very goth In Amber.

KONRADSEN – “NICK OF TIME” (FT. GIA MARGARET)
Norwegian folk duo Konradsen and Chicago ambient artist Gia Margaret have teamed up for the beautiful “Nick of Time.” “I was going through a lot of big changes in my life at the time,” Konraden’s Jenny Marie Sabel says. “Everything felt like it was moving so fast, and every big decision seemed to come down to the very last moment. I’ve always been what you’d call a slow changer — I can happily do the same thing for years, while some people love jumping into new projects all the time. I like routine and process, and I don’t like to rush into things. Over the past couple of years, I’ve asked myself over and over: ‘Will we find a solution?’, and somehow, things always seem to fall into place in the end.” Gia adds, “When Jenny sent me Nick of Time it blew me right over! I was asked if I could contribute to it while I was in the thick of finishing up a record of my own and I had no business taking it on… but I couldn’t look away. I felt totally immersed in her voice and words and it offered some room for playfulness. It was so easy to sing with Jenny’s beautiful and effortlessly cool voice. I also filled all the spaces I could with synth and piano. I’ve always felt some affinity with Konradsen’s production style so it felt like second nature. I hope this is the beginning of many more collaborations with this wonderful band.”

MOSES SUMNEY – “O MISTRESS MINE”
Moses Sumney has shared his arrangement of “O Mistress Mine” from this summer’s production of Shakespeare in the Park’s Twelfth Night.

CONFIDENCE MAN – “DAMAGED GOODS”
Aussie dance duo Confidence Man will release the Active Scenes Vol One EP on December 5 via Chaos/Polydor. “You have to crack a few heads to make an omelet,” they say of this banger of a first single. “We broke three laws while making this song. Don’t call it an art crime.”

SKRILLEX – “HIT ME WHERE IT HURTS X” FT. DYLAN BRADY & CAROLINE POLACHEK
Skrillex has shared an extended version of “Zeet Noise” off Fuck U Skrillex You Think Ur Andy Warhol but Ur Not!! <3, featuring Caroline Polachek’s vocals off her Pang track.

PEACH BLUSH – “ERADICATION OF THE MIND”
Little Rock, Arkansas’ Peach Blush cite Hüsker Dü, Dinosaur Jr, and Mission of Burma as influences, and they make the kind of OG post-hardcore that those bands helped invent. Here’s their new three-song single, out via Sunday Drive Records.
