Superheaven co-vocalist Jake Clarke just recently released the first demo by his new band Clever Hour, and now Superheaven co-vocalist Taylor Madison’s band Webbed Wing (which Jake also drums in) have announced their third full-length album. It’s called Vol. III and due July 12 via Will Yip’s label Memory Music (pre-order). Along with the announcement comes two singles, “Further” and “Burn It Down.” The former comes with a video, and it’s fueled by the kinds of grungy vibes that Superheaven fans know and love, and the latter finds Webbed Wing diving more into jangle pop territory, which suits them just as well as the heavier stuff. This week, Webbed Wing will begin a tour supporting Movements, which also includes their old Pennsylvania pals Tigers Jaw and French band Paerish. That tour includes NYC-area stops at Long Island’s Paramount on April 12 and NJ’s Starland Ballroom on April 14. All dates are listed below.
