Watch Deaf Club’s new video & an interview between Justin Pearson and his 95-year-old grandmother

Deaf Club–the Justin Pearson (The Locust, Retox, Swing Kids, etc)-fronted chaotic hardcore band that also features members of ACxDC, Run With the Hunted, and more–have released the Bad Songs Forever EP and a split with Fuck Money (on which their songs are both collaborations with HIRS) and also done lots of touring since releasing their 2022 debut LP Productive Disruption, but now they’ve reached back to that album to make a new video for its song “Full As a Tick.” The footage was captured on one of their recent tours by director Stephen Inman, and it does a great job showing you what a force this band is on stage. Check it out below.

Stephen Inman is also working on a new video interview between Justin and his 95-year-old grandmother Lucille Ramsey, and you can see a short clip of that, in which Justin shows her a clip of some Deaf Club music and they talk about it. Choice quote: “I couldn’t understand what you were saying… but, it’s loud.” It’s very endearing! Check it out below.

Deaf Club will also begin a UK/Europe tour on November 19, and you can find all the dates for that on the tour poster at the bottom of this post. Deaf Club are also opening one of the LA shows on the Blood Brothers reunion tour.
